From the Perspective of a Turtle

From the point of view of a cyclist, the road is looked at in many ways depending on how you use it. A long ride on a frosty day to a job mundane could be seen one way, while smiling jacket-less on Spring’s first warm, sunny weekend after a long winter could mean another entirely. A congested street? A challenge you live for or something that scares you into leaving the bike at home.

From the point of view of a motorist, all wrapped up in a heated auto with your favorite tunes or talk radio, and a hot cup of coffee in the cup holder…the road is seen through well tinted windows, buffered by steel and suspension you’re not really “in it” the same way a cyclists is.

Now…from the perspective of the slow and humble turtle, the road is but one thing.
